We've created a family community to provide access to resources critical to each phase of your student's time at Nevada. Because a well-informed family is essential to student success, you can sign-up to to receive parent and family communications, news, and invitations to campus events.

Summer Experience

The summer experience introduces your student to life at Nevada and the required steps to get settled at campus and learn about life as a college student.

New Student Orientation

Orientation helps ease your student's transition to college. Students get to meet classmates, learn about campus and prepare for their first year at the University.

NevadaFIT

NevadaFIT is a required experiential learning program that introduces students to the rigor and intensity of college classes.

Moving to campus

The summer experience introduces your student to life at Nevada and the required steps to get settled at campus and learn about life as a college student.

Learn about important dates and deadlines throughout the academic year, from deadlines to drop classes without penalty to the start of instruction.

As your student graduates and joins the 125,000+ alumni network, they can turn to the Nevada Alumni association for support after graduation and their post-college career plans.
